Presentations by Vincent Vulsma and Dušan Rodic

Location: Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam

The curators of the exhibition, Syafiatudina and Kerstin Winking, will give a guided tour through the exhibition and simultaneously will collectively shed light on their curatorial concept and work, of which the exhibition is the result. Successively two of the artists taking part in the show, Vincent Vulsma and Dušan Rodic, will give presentations in which they will talk about their specific work for the group show and their artistic practice in general. More precisely, Dušan Rodic will explain the background of 'Pulse', a series of energy generating solar panels that he installed on the roof of SMBA. And Vincent Vulsma will expound his work '7 Nights', a floor installation that consists of what appears to be seven mattresses of the luxuruous Talalay® of natural latex, created out of Indonesian rubber.
