In this section you can find three different kind of publications. At Space for Books you can find several publications, which are all realized in collaboration with SMBA. In this feature you can read more about the different publications and it is also possible to order the books.
Next to the launching of books and other publications, SMBA precedes with a newsletter before every new exhibition. The Newsletters contain information considering new exhibitions, openings, lectures and other events organised by SMBA. To be able to read the newsletter, you can choose this option or subscribe to our free newsletter through E-mail Newsletter
By choosing the option Reviews you can find various reports, commentary and accounts from many kinds of magazines, newspapers and journals on the events that took place at SMBA.
SMBA takes a great interest in publications. Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam produces critical, reflective, attractive books which are realised and elaborated on, in close collaboration with numerous other professionals.
One of the most recent and finest examples is the book REHAB. It was published in sequence of an exhibition with the identical name shown here in SMBA. Another example of a high standard publication is the overview catalog of the work of the artist duo Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani, who also exhibited in SMBA. The latter contains amongst others contributions of Boris Groys, Gabriele Knapstein, Jeroen Boomgaard and Jennifer Allen.

To realise these publications, financing in advance is crucial. Therefore all financial contributions are more than welcome. SMBA is appealing to you, for a contribution on annual basis. In return you can purchase these books to reduced prices or even have them sent home for free.
With a contribution of 25 Euro you can get a 50% reduction to all publications. With a contribution of 75 Euro of higher we will sent all publications for free.
